Workshops

Louise Angus organises and delivers artistic workshops in different locations across the North East that teach children to adults about history through practicing a range of techniques in art. Her workshops can be single sessions or run as an on-going project. She often brings her published novel along to her workshops as people often form an interest in her life-size historical figures that she made as characters from her published novel, Cast Out.

There are so many workshops that she can organise and cater for, so she is also able to tailor the practical sessions around a particular theme or brief if requested. She bring examples of step-by-step models of the making process, tailoring the activity to fit the appointed age group. In her workshops she can teach about a particular subject while engaging the group in an art task, such as basing the project on learning about a certain time period.
