The Secret Museum of Histories is a vision of a place that captures a time that has passed. It is a building that I've seen in my dreams, premonitions, and in drawings that I've spontaneously drawn. It is an actual building filled with rooms, but is brought to you in virtual form. I continue to build the settings that reflect eras gone before, using paint, sculpture and other building materials to create a building of dressed and functional rooms — from The Ballroom to The Library.
The Museum is one of the projects that I am currently working on, alongside the newly published, fictional novel (Cast Out), which is set in Georgian times. Events and author signings are currently happening across the North East, and will continue to occur.
The Secret Museum of Histories is about connecting history and all the projects that are created by my love for discovering another life, time and world. I paint, draw and write down my visions and discoveries, which have developed into a series of paintings, drawings and stories (one developing into a novel).
A second novel is currently being written, and the building of The Museum continues. Both The Museum and novel mark a time past; delve into a life, a moment, a place that could have existed, and enable a modern-day viewer to escape from reality.
